Overview

Siftr is a personal content organizer that stores your data locally on your device. Your privacy is important to us.

Data Collection

Siftr does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

• All cards, images, and attachments are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework.
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry is collected.
• No account or sign-up is required.

On-Device AI Processing

Siftr uses Apple Intelligence (on-device AI) to format and categorize your content. This processing happens entirely on your device — no data is sent to Siftr or any third-party service.

URL Fetching

When you import content from a URL, Siftr fetches the webpage directly from your device to extract relevant information (title, ingredients, instructions, etc.). This is a direct connection between your device and the website — Siftr does not proxy, log, or store the URLs you visit.

Biometric Authentication

The Vault category uses Face ID or device authentication to protect sensitive content. Biometric data is handled entirely by Apple’s LocalAuthentication framework and never accessed by Siftr.

Third-Party Services

Siftr does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing services.

Data Storage

All data is stored on-device. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed.
